Distribution Logfile::Tail contains module Logfile::Tail and script logfile-tail which provide the read-just-once logic of reading log files, across invocations, reading new lines as they get appended, and walking across rotated logfiles.

Download Logfile-Tail-0.7.tar.gz, the latest release. Also available are Fedora 16 source and noarch rpms: perl-Logfile-Tail-0.7-1.fc16.src.rpm and perl-Logfile-Tail-0.7-1.fc16.noarch.rpm.
